So here we go again.
It's 2012, supposedly the last year of the World as we know it. For us the destruction has begun, already, with the sukun.it down for a long while, because of a small error (deleting files).
But as for any crisis, this is an opportunity for change, to review some of the work done, and the one ahead. And the impression it's always of running only to stand still.
So here comes a new short gallery of four polaroids only taken in Zanzibar during crisis time. I was living in Kenya at that time and before the general elections of 2007, we were requested to stay off for some days, just to see how things were going to happen.
It resulted in almost a month of running to stand still, watching the news and trying a transport back. As I made it by a boat to the coast, the world had changed forever for me.
